Excellent Jerome Thibouville Lamy France Grenadilla wood, Boehm flute with silver plated keys and rings, offset G, closed G# , just has been overhauled with all new pads and corks. Flute features a sweet warm tone and excellent response. The crown mechanism is fully functional and the tenons are closely fitted for maximum airtightness. The sounding length is 23.5" (598 mm) with an overall length of 26.5" (673 mm) and a distance of 11.675" (304 mm) from the center of the embouchure to the center of the A key. The flute plays at: A=440. The Flute is marked with "Legion D'Honneur E' Supre Hors Concours, Paris 1878 - 1889 - 1900 Jerome Thibouville Lamy" along with other hard to make out impression like "F'de C. Arme'e - H.R. _ aumur Paris". This is a very fine instrument in excellent playing condition.
